SO, it turns out that I didn't have to go to my mom's house yesterday. :D She was going to call me when she got home from the doctor's office and let me know it was ok to come over, but turns out that the surgical podiatrist that she was seeing for the first time decided to do some impromptu surgery right there in the office!
